It tells a story of violence, brotherhood and reconciliation and questions the very foundations of our society. Four Sisters had its world premiere at one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, the Cannes International Film Festival. It won the Best Documentary Award and three other awards. It was nominated for the European Film Award in the documentary category and for the Academy Award in the international film category. The film has been screened at film festivals around the world and won numerous awards.
